The Beaverkill Angler has a staff that likes to stay active on the water, but many days we just have to stay in the shop. That's where our experienced and professional group of Catskill guides come in. We offer quality float and wading trips on the Upper Delaware River system, in addition to our walk and wade trips on the Beaverkill River and Willowemoc Creek. Full and half day trips are available. Contact us with any questions or to book your trip and reserve a guide today.
Both rates are good for up to 3 people, and include basic gear (rods/reels). Waders are available to purchase or rent. Full Day Trips include lunch.

Dennis Cluck Jr. has been fishing the Catskills for over twenty years. Whether you want to fish the Beaverkill, Willowemoc, West Branch of the Delaware, or explore some of the smaller tributaries for native brook trout, Dennis' high school teaching and coaching background makes him an excellent guide for both experienced and beginning anglers.
Judd Weisberg lives on the banks of Schoharie Creek and has been fly fishing and fly tying since he was 7 years old. He has taught countless anglers of all ages to fly fish on Catskill rivers from the Delaware to the Esopus. When he is not floating the river in his 15' Koffler, Judd's time is spent with his wife and golden retriever, or crafting Adirondack style furniture in his workshop.
Ray Ottulich is one of the most diverse guides we work with. A New York native who has fished since he was twelve, Ray floats the Delaware system, wades the Neversink, and chases striper on Hudson River tributaries. He has also written for the New York Times Outdoor Column, the Blue Stone Press, and Flyfishing the West.
Oleh Czmola honed his fishing skills growing up in western New York. Over the past twenty years the Catskills have become his back yard. From the Beaverkill to the Schoharie his enthusiasm is contagious. His passion for teaching from the simplest to complex help to create a memorable experience. When not guiding or fishing Oleh is often found hiking and cycling in the area.
Matt Nelson has been a professional guide for nine years. He has guided in Montana and Wyoming, in the areas around Yellowstone as well as in the park, and the Bighorn Mountains. When not managing our store in Roscoe, Matt will be available for evening walk and wade trips on the Beaverkill River and Willowemoc Creek.
Evan Lavery in addition to owning the Beaverkill Angler, also guides. And if he's not in the shop you may be able to book him for a walk/wade trip on one of our local rivers.
