Today will be sunny blue bird sky's with a high of 80. We are still having colder nights so the water temps are a bit lower in the morning so the best time to get out and fish is the afternoon and evening. The Beaverkill and Willowemoc have been fishing good but not consistent. I've had the best luck moving around till I find bugs and fish feeding on them, the lower stretches of the Beaverkill have been fishing the best. The freestones are still running a little high but are clear you could have luck fishing dry's, nymphs, and streamers. The West Branch has been fishing the best of all our local rivers, I can count on finding rising fish up toward Deposit. Over the weekend the flow was up so one of our guides Landon Brasseur and I took advantage of the high water and streamer fished out of his boat. We brought several fish to the net with the smallest being 16 inches and the largest 19 inches. The flows have dropped back down and conditions are great for wading. The East Branch is at a great flow for wading and is having lots of consistent hatches but not many consistent risers. Expect technical fishing to cruising trout. The Main Stem of the Delaware has been very productive for all of our float trips, our guides have had success and Dry's, nymphs, and streamers. The Main Stem at its current flow is best fished out of a boat but has some great wade fishing spots around the Shehawken boat launch.
