Today will be a high of 53° and sunny, looking at the ten day forecast today will be the coolest day for a while. Now that we are getting proper spring weather the fishing should pick up quickly. Be on the look out for rising fish as the warmer temps can cause a hatch to happen at any time, but be prepared to fish nymphs and streamers. I've found the most success fishing double nymph rigs under a indicator, the key to get a nymphing rig to work is adjusting the depth you are fishing by moving your indicator, adding or subtracting split shot and or changing you position in the water to get a different drift. When the water is colder the trout tend to be more selective of what they eat because their metabolism is slowed and they don't need to eat as much so putting your flies right in front of a fish is paramount.

GUIDE RECOMENDED FLY'S: Mylar Prince (Black Sz 16), HS Pheasant tail Jig (Orange Sz 16-18), Frenchie (Shrimp pink Sz 16-18), Fulling Mill Perdigon (Black or Purple Sz 16-18), Spanish Bullet Jig (Silver Sz 16-18), Jiggy Pats (Black and Brown Sz 10-16)
